Synthekophobia
A persistent, severe aversion to locking a verbal agreement into a structural boundary, legal contract, or binding written pledge. It is the psychological dread of the permanent, unalterable obligations that arise from giving an official signature.
“They were completely happy talking about the project details over coffee, but the moment the freelancer sent over a formal contract to lock in the terms, the client's synthekophobia kicked in and they stopped replying entirely.”

Doxaphobia
The acute anxiety or defensive pride triggered by validating or adopting someone else’s opinion over your own. It is an ego-driven fear that accepting an outside perspective diminishes your own personal intelligence or authority.
She read the data and knew her strategy was flawed, but her doxaphobia kicked in. Instead of adopting the team's superior plan, she spent two hours trying to find a loophole just to keep her original opinion alive.

Asymphonophobia
An intense, irrational dread of being in complete intellectual harmony or on the same page as another person. It is a psychological compulsion to break conversational symmetry because sounding like you agree with someone else feels like a total loss of your individuality.
Rahul exhibits extreme asymphonophobia. Even if we both want to order pizza, the moment I suggest it out loud, he will immediately pivot and argue that we should get burgers instead, simply because he cannot stand the sound of us being in total harmony.

Homologophobia
Fear of agreeing to someone else.
The irrational dread or refusal to concede an argument or admit that another person is correct. A person suffering from homologophobia (a homologophobe) will stubbornly double down on a false statement or actively disagree with a factually accurate point purely out of fear of losing face, bruising their ego, or granting their opponent a "win." Derived from the Greek 'homologia' (agreement/assent) and 'phobia' (fear).
