A lot of changes around the world that witnessed in the last decade and more could be attributed to cyberquakes. These include political regime changes, changes in the attitudes and behaviors of people, among others.

Someone told me she had been following my Facebook feeds over a year. I sent her a friend request, but she politely declined. She messaged me that was not the direction she wished to take. I think she has got a platonic crush on me.

Impathy 

Impathy is the empathy that someone feels for themselves. To impathize is to feel empathy for the self. Impathy is the basis of self-love and is essential for peace of mind. However, psychopaths are also known to be deeply impathetic.

Noone needs more empathy from you than yourself. In other words, you need to have some impathy. Actually, you can't be genuinely empathetic without first being impathetic.

chatmate 

A namesake friend; someone, often a complete stranger whom you might never have met in person, with whom you chat online, when you feel bored and have nothing better to do.

I have tons of chatmates on Whatsapp and WeChat. Even though I haven't met any of them, some of them have become very close to me. Actually, they give my life a new purpose - now, I don't even care if I have any traditional brick and mortar buddies. Yes, I know there could be some risk: who knows if my chatmates are mere bots.

Someone who sells their communication skills to achieve objectives they don't deserve otherwise.

She spent her life whoring her communication skills and finally became a CEO. She communicated with such excellence that it altogether covered up her utter incompetence in everything else. Then, the moment came when she no longer could hide herself from tackling the real issues affecting her business. A board member called her spade a spade and she had to step down. A communication whore finally exposed.

Retrovation 

Retro-innovation. Innovation that happens when people resist change or when they go back to a state before the change was brought in. Remember, standard definitions of innovation is built around change and consider resistance to change anti-innovative.

People are increasingly going back to the good old days. Retrovation is evident in many new products that we use. Organic, fertilizer free farming is popular again. At the very least, we apply retro-filters on our digital images when we cannot get back to the real bygones. Retrovert has actually become a personality type, just like introvert and extrovert.
