Officially known as the Republic of China. A de facto island nation in East Asia not recognized my most permanent UN members in the world. The one proof that democracy can work in China due to their same same but different cultures. Also a major economic powerhouse and is important to both China and the US. Is likely to be the epicenter of the second cold war between the two global superpowers. It has the nicest people in the Greater China region as well.

Chinese Special Administrative Region. Once a virbant city with an extremely unique culture in the Greater China region, it has been a shadow of its former self after the central government of China's crackdowns on protests in 2019. The city is expected to be fully integrated into the rest of China in 2047.
