DBB

A Douchebag Boss. A very small man with an over-inflated sense of self-worth and prominence. These characteristics are made even more douchbaggable by his preferential and sexist treatment of select employees and complete disregard for sexual etiquette in the work place and professional mannerisms. The DBB has no experience in his field and was promoted due to convenience after a company merger or because he sucked the VPs dick.
Jane: Wow, Athena, there's no way that that little, pathetic, sexist, asshole of a man is your boss! How does he get away with such unprofessional behavior.

Athena: I dont know, Jane. I'm hoping he pisses off the wrong woman in power. He's such a fucking DBB.

PAWA

PAWA: -noun (pah-wah) abbreviated term for Pre-Monday Anticipatory Work-related Anxiety, a non-specific anxiety disorder characterized by insomnia, panic attacks, and/or an overall sense of unease leading up to the start of a work week. PAWA most commonly occurs prior to a particulary important presentation or work-related task but can become a chronic condition when experienced during a fauxmotion or while under the supervision of a DB boss. Cures include: self-medication, securing new gainful employment or punching your DB boss in the face.
Jane: Why are you getting so worked up, Athena? Its Sunday night, enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Athena: I can't, Jane. I suffer from PAWA and am constantly having these anxiety attacks thinking about the work week ahead. I wish my boss weren't such a DB, then I could enjoy my weekend.

Fauxmotion

Fauxmotion: -noun foh-moh-shun artificial, imitation or fake advancement in rank or position. A fauxmotion can only be identified by the fauxmoted and the fauxmoter due to the illusion of a promotion by external parties, as increased workload and responsibilities are required. A fauxmotion cannot be officially legitimized by title and/or compensation.
Jane: Congratulations on your new promotion, Athena! You really deserved it.

Athena: Thank you, Jane. Unfortunately, I received a fauxmotion, as I will not be receiving an increase in pay or a higher title. It sure has increased my workload, though!
