The miss-typing of "teh" is deliberate, and a self-depreciating indication of the potential simplistic nature of the game by n00bs (or newbies), whilst advanced players appreciate the more elaborate interactions possible within the game's structure.

The term itself relates the raison raison d'être of Armored Core.
