swear-word invented for use in the Farscape series - usually as an adjective, "frelling".
I can't get the frelling spaceship to take off cos there's a frelling alien glued to the frelling ignition pipeline and because of this the frelling engine room is a total pile of frell.

the Lacanian Real

a nonexistent entity believed in by some psychoanalysts as an excuse for flagellating themselves, and/or by cultural critics as an explanation for anything they can't explain.
Because of the Lacanian Real, we're all a pile of shit.

The reason why the Walrus Man bleeds when he's hit with a lightsaber even when nobody else ever bleeds when hit with a lightsaber is because of the Lacanian Real.

A large red winged pterodactyl-like monster in the world of Magnamund (Joe Dever, Lone Wolf) - rarely ridden, but often used as shock troops to pick off enemies in battles, and occasionally to carry other monsters. Watch out - they swoop from above, keep away from hills in Lone Wolf 1
You can see a kraan circling the hill. Do you want to:

1) climb the hill and get killed, or
2) go under the hill and get killed by a burrowcrawler instead?

1) of or pertaining to Orcs

2) language spoken by Orcs

Also spelt "Orcish"
My sister is possessed of an almost Orkish intelligence.

My maths teacher was babbling again, I think he might have been speaking Orkish.

burrowcrawler

A subterranean Agarashi. That means it's an ugly demonic thing with lots ot tentacles. Should be in an anime film but isn't (it's in book one of Joe Dever's Lone Wolf series, hiding under a hill). Pretty low combat skill, definitely beatable.
You have come to a hill. Do you want to:
1) go under the hill and get eaten by a Burrowcrawler, or
2) climb the hill and get eaten by a Kraan instead?
