Get the nubimug. The dissillusioned, self-infatuated protaganist of the 2002 movie Igby Goes Down, very losely based on the book Catcher In the Rye.
You can use it to describe an intelligent, cynical member of the priveleged class rebelling againt the pretention and hypocrisy of his upbringing to prevent from going crazy, but only through his own pretention and hypocrisy. Ultimately loveable though.
