they went almost 40 years without winning a title, when they finally won it in '99.

BayStars sucked for a while until they won that title.

baseball team based in osaka.
the only team to have never won the title.

they had 4 chances to win the title, but blew all of them.

baseball team based in the suburbs of tokyo.
they won the title almost every year in the 80's.

they're just now getting back to winning again.

osaka

a city in japan, the second-largest next to Tokyo. probably the most liveliest people in japan live here.

Osaka is a pretty nice place and the people will be good to you most of the time.
But if you tell them you're a Tokyo Giants fan... then they'll kick the shit out of you.

o, and osaka has the best airport in the world, too.

weren't any good until the 90's, when finally started winning.
