Red Ass

Someone who is constantly complaining or picking a fight over perceived injustices.

I first saw this usage in a Sports Illustrated article about the baseball manager Lou Pinella. In the article Pinella, who is notoriously bad about arguing with umpires, referred to himself as a red ass. I liked the term so well, and it applied to some in my family, it was entered in to the family lexicon.

My father yelled at the waiter for bringing the wrong order. He is a real red ass.

Alero

Vehicle produced by Oldsmobile from 1999 to 2004 until the Oldsmobile line went ker-plunk. Decently fast, it has some unique styling. But in the end there is only one thing you need to know: Made In America -> not rice.

Guy #1: Did you see that Alero smoke that Civic?
