lecture

An act of passing on information at one's leisure, and although it is meant to get through to one's head, it ends up pissing them off anyway.

Also, make sure you don't tell him what to do when he's driving; his ego shows when he's behind the wheel and he will lecture you to the max if you act like a backseat-driver even at the MOST MINOR situation."
