He called a Customs Vans shoe he designed especially for Bill's Wheels of Santa Cruz, CA (a popular skateboarding store) "Flippety Floo shoes" and "an artistic statement" and from there it has potentially become the latest brand synonymous with the Santa Cruz lifestyle.
