It is estimated that Zmoke's fandom rose to a new level after he played Smoke's missions in Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, which led to Human Smoke's long-winded advocacy. Finally in the soft reboot Smoke fans got to know who Smoke was, thanks to the game's focus on the human side of Smoke.
