Noun: A surfster, also known as a surf-hipster, is someone who listens to obscure surf bands and wears obscure surf brands until it becomes too mainstream. They are usually the one random person that waits for waves where no one else is because the good waves have become too popular with other crowds.

The coolest person in the world. There is only one of them and they are the most amazing person you will ever meet. It is an honor to look them in the eye.

The philosophy of the surfmaster. To outsiders it looks like failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. However the surfmaster lives happily without seeing this - its true that ignorance is bliss, if you are a surfmaster.
