A person who doesn't say more than they have to, but doesn't say less than they need to.

The exact opposite of a chatterbox.

(This term is most often applied to men, but some women also fit this definition)

Titus is a man of few words. In most conversations he won't even speak up, but when he does, we all listen.

A reliable person, who always keeps their promises or is known to fulfill their commitments and obligations at any cost. Someone you can sincerely trust to do something when asked.

"Don't worry, I'll never tell your wife about that, I'm a man of my word."

Someone who believes they are a man of their word (someone who tells the truth, keeps promises, doesnt make outrageous claims) but regularly does the oppisite, while still believing and telling others he is a man of his word.

"Im never smoking again" (Then smoking the next day)
"I didnt steal it, I'm a man of my word" (After stealing the object)
