Christian spends so much time fauxcializing on facebook that he hardly ever comes out for drinks anymore.

The act of attending public gatherings--to be in a social setting--but then emitting a vibe that says you want to be left alone. Being there simply to be around others.

"Who reads a book at a bar?"

"She's just fauxializing."
