A Ulitharid is a subspecies of illithid, or mind flayer. they are roughly 9 feet tall with 6 tentacles instead of 4, 2 of which are about 8 feet long. they have a much longer maturing period in the elder brain pool then a normal illithid, 20 years instead of 10, so they are quite rare. they also have vaslty superior psionic abilities.
