(noun) -- Those in the process of transitioning to adulthood. Can be identified by their use of social media to announce their latest adulting accomplishment. Ex. "Great job adulting today. I made my own appointment to see the dentist." (Adjective)-- to describe a person who is transitioning to adult independence.

Adultweens seek recognition for completing mundane tasks that show they are taking responsibility for themselves, such as doing laundry and seeing the dentist.
