The word means 'think police'. Any other definition is plain stupid. The concept comes from 1984, a book by George Orwell written to illustrate totalitarianism so extreme that even your thoughts are controlled.

The actual word isn't in 1984 but it derives from 'Interpol', the international police organisation.

Also a band from a UK, but that doesn't matter.
A: "I had a really good time at that concentration camp."
B: "Really? So George was lying about it being deadly and dismal."
A: "That's why the thinkpol have sent him back there."

Thinkopolis

Heaven for gamers. This religion has two deities - a goddess called Opsidian and a god called Matteo. These two created a heaven called Thinkopolis where gamers can play games for eternity.
This "religion" supports science, reason and free-thinking.
In the beginning there was a glorious goddess. Opsidian. She was all alone and didn't have anyone to play video games with. Suddenly a handsome god called Matteo emerged from the nothingness and joined her in the heaven they created toghether. The heaven Opsidian decided to call Thinkopolis.

Thinkology

Literally, the science of your thought. The path that a person might take to reach a conclusion through thinking and/or reasoning. A path of reasoning.
"Hubert, just exactly what was your thinkology before running up $17,234.99 worth of 1-900 phone sex calls on your mommy's Visa?"

Thinkpot

Thinkpot is a term used to describe a human brain.
Well, I did to day I was sitting on the shuttle to school watching the news, I was thinking about how I would start this Live Journal and write down all the crap that's always running through my caffenated thinkpot.

thinknology

A creative or eductational tool, aid or system for the enhancement of an emotional or enlightening experience. An aid for provoking further thought, interest, enjoyment, understanding or discussion on a subject.
The use of thinknology in schools can be a real advantage to pupils. For example, by using music-making technology to explore specific themes such as social issues. Used creatively and effectively any tool or technology can be utilized for common good in a context often beyond what it was originally designed for.
