The individual may be using “being busy” as an excuse to avoid work, social interaction, or personal responsibility, while secretly engaging in absolutely nothing productive.
Example 1: Person 1: "Hey, why didn’t you finish that project?" Person 2: "Sorry, I’ve been so Scruggs busy lately." Person 1: "I saw on your IG story you had time to golf”
