Whanime 

A general term for any anime-influenced cartoon outside of Japan. They are generally created by white people; hence the name whanime (a portmanteau of white, and anime). Any attempt at copying the same style as anime. Sometimes referenced as fanime, amerime, or kanadime. Most are fascinated and try to use the same style as anime. Examples include Avatar: The Last Airbender, Teen Titans, Code Lyoko, but are not limited to arguably Transformers, and other Caucasian made cartoon.

Person 1: Hey, I'm watching anime
Person 2: Oh, what's it called?
Person 1: Avatar!
Person 2: That's not anime, that's a whanime!

1. A way to shorten the phrase whats up. When your saying hello to a lass, its easy to say whayup rather than whats up.

This expression originates from incels sending selfies with normie thots with a caption whenurgay, trying to play cool and advance their social status by covertly braging about it to their normie friends.
