Whether bound by chain of iron or gold, one remains nonetheless bound.

I was flossin' my bling yo when some happy motherfucker looks me dead in the eye and says, "I wonder if you understand what these ostentatious restraints around your neck say about you?" It was then that I realized I have allowed this shiny rock, and the ideas associated with and superimposed onto it by others, to define my perspective of true value. I need to step out of Babylon because I've been played my whole life like a yo-yo!

That is when I came to understand the concept of two chains began to prioritize love, wisdom and positivity.

Falling between two chairs

Someone who falls in-between two categories, and cannot enter either or. This can be an example of someone who does not make enough money to live comfortably, but makes way too much money to get on welfare. People who fall between two chairs are stuck in survival mode and just exist.

According to the government, I make too much money to get on welfare, but I don't make enough money to live comfortably, so I falling between two chairs.
