the panics

A rock band that originating from Perth, Australia. Has already within a few years shot from unknown status to semi-well known and has released some very tight albums, some of their tracks being featured on tv/movies.

Destined to be famous everywhere, The Panics play music which is like nothing else out there. Exquisitely atmospheric, whilest still down to earth with a distinctive live sound, but does this without producing the sometimes overwhealming "wall of sound" that other indie bands can be notorious for.
The Panics are becomming famous.

the PANICS

Stands for People Acting Normal In Crazy Situations. Made by the same incredible minds behind Red vs Blue called Rooster Teeth. The show is currently not as popular, and hasn't been around as long a RVB.

Sorry, right now I have now quotes or funny things to say, so just go check it out for yourself.
Man, I loved the third episode of the PANICS!

The Organic Panic

Refers to the subculture of people who will only eat organic food and make sure everyone knows it.
Is that organic?! I can't possibly eat that if it isn't 100% organic and I want you to know it. Is that applesauce organic? Because if it's not it might poison my child. Really? McDonalds, do they have an organic menu? I'm part of The Organic Panic.

the Satanic Panic

A moral Panic that was instigated heavily by Christian/Catholic Televangelists that Persecuted and falsely accused Satanists of crimes they didn't commit and fear mongered against Satanism and Satanists, especially Theistic Satanists!

Even though The Satanic Panic occurred in the 80s and 90s, some argue that this event and its effects never truelly ended as yet in history.

Even to this very day, Satanists and Satanism, are persecuted, misrepresented in public media such as TV and movies. Especially Theistic Satanism!

Real Satanists, regardless of weither they are Theistic or Athiestic, are not violent or harmful in anyway! Satanists DO NOT do sacrifices or harm humans or animals!

But no, Satanism is a nonviolent belief system with a very dark looking asthetic and beliefs that are very differing to Christianity and Catholicism!

But ask yourselves a question: who benefits from other people fearing and or Hating Satanists and Satanism?

Definitely not Satanists! Over the years, many Satanists have been persecuted and many temples or churchs related to Lucifarianism and or Satanism have been the casualties of violent protests (think People throwing chairs and Christian/ Catholic Statues through the window) and Arsons.

Satanists are often verbally abused, harassed, and threatened by Christian and Catholic Extremists if they make their beliefs known!

Rather, Christians and Catholics, Particularly the more Extremist benefit from this hatred and misplaced fear of Satanists.
Person 1: "why are so many Satanists that have seen on TV portrayed as violent? I met a Satanist once, and that person was a peiceful person and they did non of the stuff that's portrayed on television."

Person 2: "Thats mainely due to something that happened in the 80s and 90s called The Satanic Panic. This was when Satanists where falsely accused of crimes they didn't commit. Satanists are still persecuted even to this day because of this widespread moral panic,"

Person 1: "Oh. What started The Satanic Panic?"

Person 2: Christian and Catholic televangelists and extremists spreading widespread fear mongering and panic about Satanists, in an attempt to grow their own numbers."

Person 1:"That Sucks!"

panic at the disco

Panic at the Disco (formerly Panic! at the Disco) is a rock band from Las Vegas. Due to unfortunate circumstances, 80% of their fanbase is synonymous with screaming fangirls who only know their hit single, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies."
The other 20% are cool, intelligent people who appreciate good music and want MTV to die, and don't listen to the radio either. They know all of Panic's songs (from both their amazing yet extremely different albums, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out and Pretty. Odd.) and know all the lyrics as well as their meaning. They don't listen to Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance unless their genuinely like them, which would be because of their (good) older material.
Panic at the Disco blend techno and rock with theatrical touches in their first album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. Contrary to popular belief, this was something that had never been done before. At the September 2005 release of this album, it did not get much attention from the media or really any commercial recognition at all. In early 2006, the video for their second single, I Write Sins Not Tragedies, was played on MTV's Total Requests.
Is this enough proof that this band was NOT originally meant to be "liked" by ignorant "fans" who like one song?
In March 2008 they released their Beatles-esque second album, Pretty. Odd. This experimental and risky album did lose some of the original fans, but true fans ignored the fact that it was very different from the first album and gave it a chance.
Overall, PATD are an extremely original band whose less popular songs (NOT I WRITE SINS NOT TRAGEDIES) need to be considered.
Common "fan": OMG I love Panic at the Disco!
Real fan: Really? What's your favorite song by them?
Common "fan": Well... everyone knows THAT... I Write Sins Not Tragedies!
Real fan: And do you know anything ELSE?
Common "fan": No. No one does. Do they even have other songs?
Real fan: *shoots*

panic at the disco fan

letss compare a real panic fan to a fake one, shall we?

---FAKES---

A fake Panic at the Disco fan would only be a screaming fangirl trying to rape Brendon Urie in his sleep just because he looked good BACK THEN IN 2005 and this fake fan has no idea what he looks like now, all thought Brendon has always looked okay.

A fake PATD fan would say they are so addicted to PATD, are a PATD Freak, and want to go to all their concerts, when they really just know one song, usually I Write Sins not Tragedies.

A fake PATD fan wouldn't know what AFYCSO means.

A fake PATD fan doesn't have a clue who Brent Wilson and/or Pete Wentz is.

---REAL---

A real PATD fan would know at least maybe three or even all of their songs by heart.

A real PATD fan would know all, or at least 75% of all their song titles.

A real PATD fan knows who Brent Wilson is.

A real PATD fan would know there's life outside I Write Sins not Tragedies.

A real PATD fan would do the right thing/opposite than what the fake one does.

EXAMPLE BELOW
Now let's see the difference between a real panic at the disco fan and a fake one!

Ex.1:

patdgurl (fake fan)
paige_atthedisco (real fan)

patdgurl: OMG, PAIGE I LOVE PANIC AT THE DISCO! IM A PANIC AT THE DISCO FREAK I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!

paige_atthedisco: Oh, cool...so do I. What's your favourite song?

patdgurl: I TOTALLY LOVE I WRITE SINS NOT TRAGEDIES

paige_atthedisco: Awesome. Do you like When the Day Met the Night?

patdgurl: Wtf, I don't listen to Fall Out Boy.

paige_atthedisco: -_- *leaves*

---

Ex.2:

paige_atthedisco: Hey, how are ya?

patdgurl: Not much, I really like Panic at the Disco! I LOVE BRANDON!

paige_atthedisco: It's Brendon...and I like Jon. He's so funny.

patdgurl: Who the heck is Jon?

---

See the difference?
