Safe Sane and Consensual

Often abbreviated to SSC, it is a popular motto across BDSM communities and the fundamental principles on which it is based. Meaning that the activities that take place are safe for all participants, all participants are in a state in which they can consent and that all participants do consent. Another code of behaviour in BDSM is RACK.

BDSM scenes should operate under the Safe Sane and Consensual rules.
