An otherwise nice automobile that has been either neglected, beaten up, poorly maintained, or has fallenvictim to tasteless modification not befitting the original car.

A descriptive word for what happens if one falls at the top of a hill - or loses one's nerve - and slides in a vaguely controlled manner on one's bottom all the way to the end. Also can be used as a verb, as in "ratballing."
I accidently found myself on a black diamond ski run and decided to ratball my way to the bottom.
