To be so erotically or romantically into an anime or game character that you lose any desire for a real human. Called a "paper fetish" because the closest you'll ever get to action with them is fondling a sheet of paper.

A fetish of paperclips where one frequently takes the colored ones with rubber over them and "de-clothes" them by taking that rubber off.
"Whats that person doing over there in the corner?"
"Their de-clothing that purple paper clip!"
