However these requirements are loosely used as comprises are made often, eg. a crop top and show more stomach is the bottoms are high waisted or a dress can be backless if the entire front is covered.

When an individual, generally referring to women, dresses modest but not excessively. Dressing moderately modest includes; not revealing cleavage, wearing shorts/skirts/dresses not much higher than mid thigh, allowing some belly to show.
