When he met Bonnie and Damon he acted "annoying" because he hadn't talked to anyone in 18 years. And when he tried to apologize to Bonnie he was good but she left him. He's the way he is because no one gave him a chance. Kai is sweet, funny, and adorable once you get to know him. He's the boy who just wanted to be loved.
