zombie(インプレゾンビ) is a Japanese slang term for
annoying "verified" bots or impression farmers, typically operated by individuals from Arabic or
Indian backgrounds. They are basically active when replying to Japanese post.
They pose as Japanese users, spamming replies with meaningless content, copypasting quotes or messing search result with unrelated videos in order to gain impressions and revenue.
They're called "zombies" because they lack communication skills and mindlessly seek preys(some post that went viral on X), resembling zombies.
The phenomenon exploded after Elon Musk's launched Creator
Ads Revenue Sharing.
