Gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid (4-hydroxybutanoic acid, C4H8O3), colloquially known as GHB. Medically used as an anesthetic. Is sometimes used recreationally, and as a "date rape drug." Not be confused with Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA, aka Ecstasy) or Flunitrazepam (Rohypnol, aka Roofies).
