n. a conversation, or part of a conversation, between a male and female who are attracted to one another. When using gamespeak, literal meanings are not important as one must "read between the lines" as to what the male or female means to say.

I'm not going to hook up with you, I just met you" in gamespeak means "if we hook up now, I'm afraid you'll think I'm a whore." A good response would be "no worries girl, just relax and everything will work itself out."

Conversation/chatter which is only relevant to a game two or more people are playing together, especially when in a group setting that is not themed around the game or gaming in general.

This was the third time Susan had to remind the Thompson brothers not to gamespeak during conference calls with the CEO.

A term used in hockey mostly to describe a player who can single handedly dominate and change a game.

A player who has so much skill they can create plays themselves by deking out the opposition.

The odd collection of sub-languages of English that define the worlds and mechanics of various tabletop, console and computer roleplaying games. Most of these sub-languages are indecipherable by someone who has never heard of or has not played the game.

(GAY-speek)n. communication between homosexual males (usually in private) who speak in a familiar manner that comes across, initially ,as polite discourse but it is usually loaded with rancor and/or sarcasm

Tod: "Hey Queen. Don't you look lovely today"
Ted: "Thank you Miss Thing! I do don't I?"
Tim: "You two are a real mess."
Tod: "What's her problem? Didn't get any last night?"
Ted: "Whatever! The bitch thinks she's all that..."
Tim: "You girls work my nerves with all that gayspeak. You sound like a couple of black women."
Tad: "You know what they say honey: Trapped inside every gay man is a black female entertainer."
Tim and Tod: "Thank you honey!"
