Ebay scam

An especially convincing fake in sports, especially basketball.

From the dodgy practice of selling fake/lookalike items, particularly Nike Air Jordan's on the popular personal trading site.
NBA game circa. 1988 Chicago Bulls V. Atlanta Hawks, when defender Tree Rollins was so thrown by a Michael Jordan fake, that he stumbled and fell to his knees.

"Impressive fake there from Jordan. Rollins fell for it like an Ebay scam."

eBay Stalker

A person who uses your eBay feedback page to see what sex toys, cosmetics, lingerie you think you are buying in the privacy of your own home.
Damn! I never should have told that guy I dated what my eBay handle was. He's probably an eBay Stalker.

Word up! U better change your name fo' sure.

Nah! Then I'd lose all my props I've been ho'ing for all these years.

eBay Shuffle

When a person buys an item on eBay, then for whatever reason, lists the item back for sale on eBay at a later date. This process could continue indefinitely among different buyers and sellers.
I just bought a laptop on eBay and it arrived with broken pixels. Guess it's time to do the ol' eBay Shuffle and list it back on the 'Bay!

eBay Showroom

Most retail stores selling electronics. Gives you a chance to see the item and try it out, before buying it on eBay for cheaper
I'm not gonna pay full price for these items, i'm just coming in here because it's an eBay Showroom

eBay sniper

Annoying no-lifes who monitor eBay auctions all day before placing a bid at the very last second to prevent anyone else from getting the item, causing frustration and despair to failed bidders.
"YES, 5 seconds to go and that laptop is mine! All for £50!"
"What the shit? Bitch! Some bastard eBay sniper sniped me at the last second!"

eBay Sniper

Somebody who won the eBay auction that was "yours" because they practice superior bidding strategies.

When done properly, eBay sniping avoids bidding wars, shill bidding, and losing.
To be a successful eBay sniper, enter the very maximum you are willing to pay when the auction has less than 10 seconds to go. Then imagine the faces on those lowballers you just beat.

Sarah: Wow Mike, how do you manage to get so many great deals on eBay?
Mike: I'm an eBay sniper!
