an upgraded version of max, but often more extreme or hard-core than the simpler word max. durmax can also be added into sentences to exemplify their meaning.

ex. mann justin chancellor's bass riff just took it to the durmax.

ex. dude down that shit to the durmax!

Duramax

A motor that replaced the GM and Detroit Diesel-built 6.2L and 6.5L motors. The first was the LB7, then the LLY, then the LBZ and as of 2007(.5), the clean-diesel LMM.
