downlowing

Based on the express "keeping it on the down low," the term "downlowing" refers to a casual, and at the same time, secret, homosexual relationship, typically between black or latino men in small social gatherings - such as card games. Many of the men who participate in "downlowing" do not consider themselves gay, and many even have families.

Felix invited me to play dominoes with him and the boys this weekend, but I was told there's a lot of downlowing going on at those games, so I declined.

Performing overnight large scale downloads (usually videoclips of erotic content up to 25+Gb) that are to be viewed the next morning.

Origin: October 3rd on bf2s.com forums by usernames DonFck, NooBestFIN and {uscm}Jyden. A typo lead to interpretation of a word now known as "dawnloading"

A silly word used in place of downloading as both mockery and homage. Usually used when referring to any piece of Japanese file media because of the common mispronunciation of the "r" sound by Japanese speakers.

The Overwhelming feeling that there is never enough storage space on a terabyte or larger hard drive even when half full.

BYTE-NIBBLING:
The refusal to download any thing larger than 500 megabytes in order to conserve storage space.

TORRENT-SURFING:
Searching for the smallest possible torrent file size saving even more storage space and gaining faster downloading speeds allowing you to download more at once.

MAGA-DRIVING:
Excessively shopping online for external hard drives with more storage space just to have an extras. Also known as (GIG HOPPING)
