The controversy of the paper overshadows the fact that the paper is often on an unassigned or unrelated topic. Spelling and grammar are seen as superfluous.
Origin: A controversial paper titled 'Dirty Needles' done as an extra credit assignment. Originating in Portland OR, the paper received significant publicity and was approximately 50 percent grammatically correct
