The point in time when an apricot begins to rot. When the apricot reaches it's "clarrie" it turns a dark shade of green in some parts and small white fluffy patches can begin to appear in the centre of the apricot. If an apricot that's got it's "clarrie" is consumed, it could make the consumer ill. - the meaning of clarrie comes from the gagging sounds the ancients made when the rotten apricot made its second appearance (up the esophagus).
