casual vegan 

someone who wants to be vegan. they support veganism and would like to be vegan if they weren’t wimps. if there is a vegan option on a menu that they like, they will choose that, but when there’s no other option, they will cave in and have some decaying animal flesh.

Casual Vegan 

Someone who likes the idea of vegan but cannot commit fully and may consume animal products from time to time.

Friend 1: Yeah, so I am vegan.

Friend 2: Nice, that is so hard to do.

Friend 1: Yeah it is.

Friend 3: Didn't you just eat a new york strip steak?
Friend 1: Oh yeah man, I am on vegan on the weekend.

Friend 2: Oh so you are casual vegan or a flexitarian.

Friend 1: Yeah man but I get so many girls by saying I am vegan.
Friend 3: That's terrible man.

Sally: So I have been vegan but I gave in and ate some chicken, now I got really ill.
Derek: That sucks you got sick, but so you are casual vegan?
Sally: I just had a slip.
Derek: That's not vegan.

Sally: yeah maybe I should just say I am a casual vegan.

Derek: Yeah that would seem easier to say.
