When you introduce friends that you've had for a long time to other friends you've had for a long time who have never met, but have lots in common and they become friends, it's a friend blend.

The Golden Blend is the perfect hand in the card game Solitaire. The best start blend in Solitaire. Requiring near to no moves to solve. Only a few people in the world has gotten the legendary blend, Dating back to early 1800s. With legends living in some people's family tree.

A genre of books which blends the world we know with a more magical and mystical one. Enjoyed by a wide audience, both children and adults. Quite separate from traditional fantasy which can be alientating and alarming to read, due to the readers's inability to connect their own life experiences and knowledge to the entirely fabricated world being depicted. Perfect examples of Blended Fantasy are the Harry Potter series (by the wonderful J. K. Rowling) and His Dark Materials (Philip Pullman).
John: Do you like Fantasy books?
Bob: No, but I like Blended Fantasy.
John: Never heard of it Bob!
Bob: You must be kidding me! Blended Fantasy is where the author has included elements of fantasy in a world that the reader can recognise and, ultimately, suspend their belief that it is fantasy at all, becoming lost in the hope that a more exciting world does in fact exist within our own, hidden and waiting to be discovered.
John: Sheesh.
Bob: No, but I like Blended Fantasy.

a type of snack mix that is made with a blend of Pringles’ Sour Cream & Onion and BBQ flavored potato crisps. Although historically mixed at a ratio of 1:1, a blend ratio as high as 3:2 is also acceptable. Backyard blends mixed at or near a 3:2 ratio are commonly referred to as "black jack variants" or "Blackyard Blends." Also know as "Urban Chex-Mix."
Jesus, Nigel! Wash your hands before you go rummaging through that Backyard Blend! And please stop picking out the BBQ ones!
