Zim dollar

A basket case of a currency which has circulated at various times in Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) - an impoverished nation which was once the breadbasket of Africa.

At one point, the country's currency plunged to a record low Z$28,4 quadrillion to the U.S. dollar, triggering massive price increases with hyperinflation estimated at over a quintillion percent, although no one really knows.
A sign in a South African restroom at the height of the 2008-09 economic collapse:

Toilet paper only To be used in this toilet

No cardboard
