twirl girl 

nickname for figure skating girls. The word was introduced by the Disney Channel movie "Go Figure", which inaccurately potrays a girl who figure skates and eventually becomes a hockey player. The "twirl" part of the phrase is due to the jumps and spins that are invovled in figure skating. "Twirl Girls", or figures skaters, are extremely determined and tough.

"Dude, that chicks a twirl girl."
"Woah, she must be way out of your leaugue."
