A coming of age story about a group of boys who find a dead body in the woods.

Starring; Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, Jerry O'Connell, and Kiefer Sutherland.

Stand By Me

1. Stand by Me is a book written by Stephen King which then got remade into a movie in 1986. The plot consists of 4 boys called Vern Tessio, Gordie Lachance, Chris Chambers and Teddy Duchamp went on an adventure to find a local teenager's dead body of Ray Brower who got hit by a train while berry picking. The movie consists of perilous scenes such as having to run away from an incoming train as they went through the train track to go to the woods, they fell into a river which had leeches and got leeches all over their bodies which cause Gordie Lachance to faint, then once they found the dead body, Ace Merril and his cronies encountered the 4 boys, almost stabbed Chris Chambers, but didn't stab him due to the fright the gunshot made when Gordie Lachance pulled the trigger. His intention wasn't to aim for anyone, but to stand up for himself in front of Ace and his gang without taking malicious or barbarous action such as shooting or stabbing them.

2. An amazing song composed by Ben E King which was released in 1961 and was played during the credits of the Stand By Me movie.

Pull A Stand By Me

As a kid or a teenager, to go on a trip (usually with friends) without adult supervision just because you can.

Some friends and I are planning to pull a Stand By Me this summer.
