(noun) A parallel cash network formed when central banks go digital. Physical $1 and $5 bills become the new "seashells"—obsolete tokens used for local trade and barter strictly on community trust outside the official CBDC system.
Once central banks forced everyone onto a digital ledger, paper cash became our new seashell economy—used to trade for local food and favors in the shadow economy.
