Schrödingers Gay is a way of describing a situation where you don't know the exact gender of a certain person you are dating.
This term is derived from the famous experiment "Schrödingers Cat"

A non-binary or agender person that is neither gay (attracted to the same gender) nor straight (attracted to the opposite gender), because there is no definitive opposite gender

Schrödinger's Gay Man

A general theory of relativity behind the sexual attraction of every man. It states that every man is in a constant state of quantum superposition between gay and straight, being 50% gay and 50% straight. As such, they will never be sure of their own sexual attraction until they kiss a man, effectively opening the box and forcing their sexuality to fall into one of the two realities, revealing whether they are gay or straight.

When the author of a love song doesn't say who the song is for (He or She). They often use YOU for reference to whom they sing it for, to hide the reality. Often used by 80s/90s singers.
