Retro Games

I hereby declare that the cutoff for a game to be considered "retro" is 20 years. This will end all debate as to when "retro" truly begins.

It's 2022 now, and both Halo: Combat Evolved and Grand Theft Auto III came out in 2001, so... that means they qualify as "retro games"!

Retrogamer

A retrogamer is a gamer preferring playing and collecting retro games - older video games and arcade games. They may also be called classic gamers or old-school gamers, which are terms that are more prevalent in the United States. The games are played either on the original hardware, on modern hardware via console emulation, or on modern hardware via ports or compilations.

If a gamer likes old video games, he's a retrogamer.

Most retrogamers don't play more modern video-games because most of them now have an obbession with good looking graphics.

A beautiful majestic creature from a more civilized time. He is the master of games and the conqueror of lands. He has scaled Mordor, he has caught all of the pokemon, he has gone SSJ3, he has over 300 confirmed creeper assassinations. Women weep and faint at his feet from shock by his sheer beauty. To be called Retrogamerman is the highest honor one can achieve in life.
