Reality Politics

When political hopefuls run their campaign as if they were starring on a reality TV show. Extremist remarks made by "celebriticians" (celebrity politicians) for the sole purpose of getting free publicity and increasing their ratings. A hybrid of reality TV and politics.
Wow... Donald Trump is engaging in some serious reality politics!

Can't wait to see if Donald Trump yells, "You're fired!" at Obama when he takes his Oath of Office next year... That would make for some great reality politics!

Political Reality Disorder

You suffer from political reality disorder when you don't believe what the MSM (mainstream media) says because logic and reality scream an entirely different picture no matter how hard they try to shove a lie down your throat.

When you're smarter than the average "sheeple" out there and you are a critical thinker and can discern for yourself without the clutter of outside banter from liars.
i suffer from "political reality disorder" and unfortunately there isn't a "pharmaceutical" with can be given to remedy this problem because I already understand how the BIG PHARMA MACHINE WORKS and I refuse to be "medicated" into compliance.

Theory of the Political and Economic Nature of Reality

The theory that reality itself—what we take to be real, true, given—is shaped by political and economic forces. The theory argues that reality is not simply discovered but constructed, that what counts as real depends on who has the power to define reality. This isn't idealism; it's realism about power. The Theory of the Political and Economic Nature of Reality explains why certain truths are recognized and others suppressed, why some experiences are validated and others dismissed, why reality is never neutral. Those who control resources also control what counts as real—and what counts as real shapes what can be done.
Example: "He used to think reality was just... reality. Then he encountered the Theory of the Political and Economic Nature of Reality: who decides what's real? Who benefits from that definition? Who is erased by it? Reality wasn't given; it was made—by power, for power. He started seeing the construction everywhere, and couldn't unsee it."

flophouse

Any house/apartment/frat house/trailer/etc. which is used for individuals to crash (sleep, chill, hang out, lurk, etc.) for a period of time. In order to "crash", one must not actually live there (e.g. have their name on the lease, own said flophouse, etc.). Flophouses are typically used by college students, drug addicts, transients, vagrants, or other unsavory characters.

A flophouse may also be the home owned by the parents of a college student, who after being away at college, wishes to live as if he/she is still at college (e.g. staying out all night, returning just to crash at mom and dad's house, then leaving again), rather than conforming to the pre-college rules.
Example #1
Dude: (Talking to someone passed out face first on the floor of his college apartment) Hey man, who the hell are you? What do you think this is, a flophouse??

Bro: Sorry dude, I must have passed out for a minute.

Example #2
Mom: Where have you BEEN for the last three days? You come home just to sleep?? What do you think this is, a flophouse??!!

Son: What's your problem? I'm an adult now!
