ONPS 

ONPS (Old Nut Puppy Syndrome) is a disease caused by not allowing a male dog to ejaculate for multiple years before allowing to breed. The resultant puppies are frequently born with physical or mental deformities, often resulting in still births. ONPS 

ONPS, or Old Nut Puppy Syndrome, is a disease in which puppies are born with severe physical deformities (often fatal) as a result of using old sperm during insemination. Allowing your stud to ejaculate through assisted methods prior to copulation is the only proven preventative technique. The chances of ONPS are increased exponentially as the time (in months) between last known ejaculation and copulation are increased. Veterinarians recommend massaging the penis or felatio of breeding studs every three months to ensure healthy litters.
