Mystery Science Theater 3000
A cult television comedy series created by Joel Hodgson (replaced by Mike Nelson after the fifth season)originating from Eden Prairie, Minnesota. It consisted largely of fictional characters making fun of existing cult films, a format which proved to be influential. Original episodes aired on Comedy Central and the SciFi Channel from 1989 to 1999. The show started with a short run on Minnesota UHF station KTMA channel 23 from 1988 to 1989.
Arguments about whether Joel or Mike was better on Mystery Science Theater 3000 are usually pointless.

Mystery stain
A greasy stain that usually appears on one of your shirts after being washed without pre-treating it. Source of the stain is unknown, but the culprit is most likely from the greasy chicken you had last night or from the Vaseline or lotion you used to, well, you know, and you didnt wash your hands well enough. Of course, you're gonna blame the chicken. In either case, if the spot doesn't come out, you throw the shirt away.
Mom: "Son, what's that stain on your shirt?"
Me: *blush* "Oh! I was wearing this the other night at supper when we had fried chicken and I guess I wiped my hand on my shirt. It's a mystery stain, mom."

Yet another fad from the infamous ytmnd, the mystery song was played in the background of an entry called "Demon Exterminator". It became known as the mystery song because no one could figure out what it was called or who it was by. It became an internet fad to the point that CNN even did a peice on its popularity. Its title and artist were finally discovered by the ytmnd user PocoLoco to be "Answers" by the group Vigilante.
