A band that actually has the potential to be more, but unfortunately it is plagued with an unoriginal sound and an extremely annoying fanbase.
The band is popular largely thanks to their very overrated, accidental emo anthem "Welcome to the Black Parade". I thought this song was good when I was in sixth grade, but now that I'm older, I see that the song is overrated, annoying, unoriginal, and stupid.
Perhaps the WORST thing about this band is it's annoying fanbase-- made up mostly of retarded, angst-ridden, socially-rejected, 13-year-old emo girls. These freaks will run along the streets proclaiming "MCR saves lives through their music!!!111!!!111". Hmm, let me guess: you wanted to go out after dinner to hang out, your parents said "no", hence they didn't love you anymore X(, so you went to kill yourself, and MCR's music--in some miraculous way--managed to stop you? Hmm?

People who are around the ages of 11-16 and think they are "special", "unique" and "different" because they listen to mcr. They are nothing more then mindless sheeps. Having their music spoon-fed to them by the media(i.e. MTV/Fuse/radio). And they like to claim "OMUHGAWD MCR SAEVDED MI LYFE".

My Chemical Romance (MCR for short) is an American rock band. Their audience is mostly composed of emo tweens & teens.
They broke up in 2013, 22 of March, to be exact. Their fans believe that when they die, they go to the so called "Black Parade". They make songs about how "nice" death and they brainwash their audience into thinking that. Their fans can't take opinions very well and mostly label people with different opinions "bitches" and other things in that context. Before you yell
at me because I said this, I was "emo" myself and my best friend is still (sadly) "emo" and I listened to them. It was until I realized how edgy they are. But, this is just my opinion, so don't get triggered. You like them all you want, I don't really care.

All My Chemical Romance fans are the same.
They walk around wearing the same tacky My Chemical Romance shirts based around some dark and mysterious picture with "My Chemical Romance" scribbled along the top in red writing made to look like blood because My Chemical Romance are so violent and harsh.
The majority of them wander around various internet websites just like this one being elitest snobs accusing everybody else that listens to them of being posers and 11 year old emo's who totally didn't like them way before they did but if you meet them in reality they are normally the dumb ones that walk around with a pound of eyeliner on and go to any gig because music is like their life when really all they listen to are the same poser bands the "poser fans" listen to.

A band that thinks they're a "rock" band, but is really as pop as Katy Perry or One Direction. Have no fans above the age of 14, and have lyrics and music that scream "desperate for fame." Plus, those guys are over thirty. Aren't they a little old to be playing music like that?
