The U.S. military's highest honor. It is awarded to those who show extreme volor and bravery in combat against an enemy, foreign or domestic. It is illegal to own one, inluding the medal, ribbon bar, and rossette, unless you have been awarded one yourself. There are less than 125 living Medal Of Honor recipients today. There are three versions: the Air Force, Navy/Marine Corps., and the oldest, the Army. The first Medal of Honor was awarded to Bernard J. D. Irwin during the Civil War.

Honor Society is a new way of music. It is Justin Timberlake meets Maroon Five meets Michael Bruno, Andrew Lee, Jason Rosen, and last but not least, Alexander Noyes. Honor Society doesn't play shows..they throw parties.

A person in high school enrolled in the maximum number of Honors and/or Advanced Placement (AP) classes. Most are concerned about their grades and have hopes of attending a "good" college. Generally, these students understand the art of BSing everything - essays the night before, homework either copied from a friend in the hall or done in the class before its due, etc. - and still maintain great grades. Contrary to popular belief, many Honors students are down-to-earth, procrastinate like its their job, and are involved in school acitivities. Of course, you'll always have those few whose only friends are the AP Calculus textbook and #2 pencil.
Honors Student 1: I need the AP Calculus homework that's due today! I had a soccer game last night till 8 and then didn't feel like doing anything so I fell asleep.
Honors Student 2: No problem, I need AP Chemistry though, I only could finish half of it this morning.
Honors Student 1: Yeah, that's fine.

Open shoving AA or KK preflop in no limit holdem games for 50 big blinds and hoping you get called by a worse hand. This was considered a good strategy when online poker was in its infancy.
There was a big fish in the small blind so I just used the move of honor from the button and got called by Ace-Jack.

Playground honor is supported by caretakers desire not to have to be bothered by punk ass tattle tales. However, some adults also believe that it is necessary to allow the inevitable injustices and dangers of childhood to be solved by children themselves, in order that they develop moral courage and a sense of self-responsibility.
