Hawkeye-sensei

In chapter 58 of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, this man is introduced as Roy Mustang's teacher and Riza Hawkeye's father. He dies soon after he is introduced, coughing blood in a similar way to Izumi Curtis, the Elric brother's teacher. He seems to be annoyed that Roy had joined the military. It has been theorized that he was the one who gave Riza the tattoo showing Roy's sigil (his alchemic circle) since Hawkeye-sensei taught Roy his alchemy.
Hawkeye-sensei looks like a Hughes/Ed/Shou Tucker chimera.

Hawkeye State

The Hawkeye State is a nickname for the state of Iowa. According to the state's tourism web site, "Two Iowa promoters from Burlington are believed to have popularized the name."

Hawkeyes

A group of narcissistic Iowans who, for reasons of low ego and lack of self-esteem, identify themselves as being somehow attached to the University of Iowa athletics program. This would work, were it not for the fact that so few Hawkeyes actually went to the University of Iowa.
Widely known for their ability to talk shit and come up with outlandish excuses when their precious football team chokes, usually upon cocks.
"So, you're from Iowa? You one of those Hawkeyes?"
"No way, I have more self-respect than that."

Iowa Hawkeyes

Disrespected college football team from Iowa City lead by Coach Kirk Ferentz. After winning the 2009 Orange Bowl, the Hawks have a bright future ahead of them.

Hawkeyes

The term 'Hawkeyes' is a general term refering to a large group. For the term to be relevant, every individual on the football team associated with this group, generally a college, must be a badass. The association of this word with a high school actually has no relevance whatever.
People who go to the University of Iowa are Hawkeyes.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
