Peace on you

An impolite way of saying "peace", since it sounds like "piss".

Catholic High School kids at their church service, while during their sign of peace say, "Peace on you," instead of "Peace be with you."

peace day

To take a day off for the following purposes:

1. To isolate oneself from a select group, which can encompass- a: unfavorable coworkers, b: circles of friends, c: society as a whole, d: anyone or anything that may cause dischord on that day.

2. To keep peace of mind.

Things such as taking a day off to relax at home or cutting off certain forms of communication to get things done away from people fall under great ways to spend a peace day.

"Where the hell is Jake? He's not answering his phone, and I have to tell him how pissed I am at Gene..."
"Dude, shut up. He's taking a peace day."

directional peace

A thought given by God telling you what to do accompanied by a very, very strong feeling of joyous peace.

I was thinking about what I should be doing career--wise, but directional peace said, "Stay put." So I stayed at the library another one or two years.

That time when the drinks take over you and you are GONE. Usually we say that someone is peaced out when they are no longer responsive.
